The Marks Koreans Use When Grading Test Papers 한국 사람들이 채점할 때 사용하는 표시

Today I studied for nine hours.	오늘은 아홉 시간동안 공부했습니다.
My original goal was to study for ten hours, but I woke too late.	원래 목표는 10 (열)시간 하는 거였는데 너무 늦게 일어나는 바람에. 흑흑.
Still, Mom praised me for my study hours. ^-^	그래도 저의 엄마가 공부 많이 했다고 칭찬해 줬어요. ^-^
I have a stiff neck now, because I kept the same posture too long while studying.	공부하면서 계속 같은 자세로 있었더니 목이 아프네요.
By the way, today I solved tens of English phonology problems and in doing so I became curious about the way Russians or Ukrainians mark test questions.	그건 그렇고 오늘 저는 영어 음운론 문제를 몇십개 풀었는데 러시아 사람들이나 우크라이나 사람들은 채점 표시를 어떻게 하는지 궁금해졌어요.
Koreans put a circle for a question answered correctly and a slash (more common) or a check for a question answered wrongly.	우리나라 사람들은 맞았으면 동그라미를 하고 틀렸으면 사선이나 체크 표시를 하거든요.
And we usually use a red pen to grade test papers, but of course you can use a different color.	그리고 채점할 때는 보통 빨간색을 사용해요. 물론 다른 색을 쓸 수도 있죠.

I got this wrong. 이건 틀렸어요. ㅜ.ㅜ

I got this wrong, too. 이것도 틀렸네요. ㅠ.ㅠ I should have concentrated more. 좀더 더 집중했어야 하는 건데.

I heard that in America they put a check for a right answer and an X for a wrong one.	미국에서는 정답이면 체크 표시를 오답이면 엑스 표시를 한다고 들었어요.
So, when a Korean girl, having lived in America for years, received her first test results in Korea, she thought she did a good job, misunderstanding what the check marks meant.	그래서 미국에서 여러 해 살고 온 우리나라 여학생이 우리나라에서 첫 시험 결과를 받고서는 체크 표시가 맞다는 표시인 줄 알고 시험을 잘 봤다고 생각했다고 해요.
