A Russian Word that Makes Foreigners Cry: здравствуйте 외국인을 울리는 러시아어 단어 здравствуйте

When I first saw the Russian word for hello, здравствуйте (zdravstvuytye), it looked like an endlessly long word.	제가 처음 '안녕하세요'라는 뜻의 러시아어 단어 здравствуйте (즈드라스트부이쩨)를 봤을 때, 그 단어는 마치 끝이 없이 긴 단어처럼 보였습니다.
Twelve letters!	글자가 12 (열두)개나 되다니!
I felt as if I was looking at a train as long as twelve kilometers.	길이가 12 (십이) 킬로미터나 되는 기차를 보는 것 같았습니다.
Ah, the horrible length!	아, 그 엄청난 길이란!
Even worse, there were two clusters of three successive consonants or more in the word: здр and вств, rather rare combinations of consonants.	게다가 이 단어에는 자음이 3 (세)개 이상 연속된 게 2 (두)개나 있습니다. здр 와 вств가 그것들인데요, 흔히 볼 수 있는 자음의 조합은 아니죠.
I felt like I was suffocating and wondered how many days it would take me to learn the word by heart.	숨이 막히는 것 같더군요. ㅠ.ㅠ 도대체 몇날이 걸려야 이 단어를 외울 수 있을까 하고 생각했답니다.
Of course, now I have no difficulty in either saying or spelling it.	물론 지금은 말하고 철자를 쓰는 데에 문제가 없지만요. ^^
And I've read somewhere that the first в in вств is not normally pronounced actually in real life, right?	어디서 읽었는데 вств에서 첫번째  в는 실제로는 발음이 안 된대요. 그런가요?
So it's actually здраствуйте, right?	그러니까 실제로는 здраствуйте인 거죠?
That makes things easier.	훨씬 낫네요.
There was nothing so fearsome about здравствуйте after all.	그러니까 결국 здраствуйте는 그렇게 무서운 단어가 아니었는데 말입니다.
However, I'm sure for most novice Russian learners it would seem like an insurmountable mountain.	그렇지만 대부분의 러시아어 초보 학습자들에게는 здраствуйте는 넘을 수 없는 산같이 보일 거라고 생각해요.
